Two Harbors, MN
Split Rock Lighthouse
This lighthouse is one Minnesota Historical Society’s top tourist attractions. Repair work on these buildings started in the early spring resulting in a daily battle with weather conditions. AMR also made special accommodations so the site could remain open for daily visitors. The interior brick had to be custom made with 7 color matches attempted before the glazing was approved. While working above Lake Superior, extra care was taken to ensure all debris was contained.
